Hello Pre-Meds,
The Pre-Medical Undergraduate Mentoring Program provides Columbia pre-meds with the perfect opportunity to mentor or receive mentorship according to your needs. Our mission is to recruit and retain underrepresented minorities in the pre-medical curriculum through mentorship. Underclassmen will receive an upperclassmen mentor to guide them in the right direction as a pre-medical student. Upperclassmen will receive the opportunity to give back and help guide a pre-med student to stay on the pre-medical track. Once a member of the mentoring program, mentors and mentees will be invited to study breaks, movie nights, and other events to interact with your mentee/mentor. More importantly, members are also invited to exclusive events for PUMP members with physicians and medical students, which makes this a great networking opportunity.
