Dear Student leaders,
Are you interested in helping to support cancer patients and their loved ones? Consider joining Camp Kesem, a completely free college-run weeklong summer camp for children whose parents have been affected by cancer. The goal of Camp Kesem is to provide a fun-filled week for kids to just be kids, while still providing them with the extra support and attention that they need. Now is your chance to help and contribute by joining Camp Kesem’s new chapter at Columbia University. LIVESTRONG has recently awarded funding to Columbia University’s Camp Kesem so that we can bring its “magic” to our community. Additional information about Camp Kesem is available on its website, www.campkesem.org.
If you are interested in being part of this flourishing group of student leaders and, of course, having a good time while at it, please send your contact information to me at ah2676@barnard.edu or to the Columbia Camp Kesem Co-Chairs:
Daniel Cabrera at his email dac2165@columbia.edu or Ifza Riaz at her email ifzariaz@gmail.com.
Our first general body meeting is this Wednesday, September 21st, 9PM at 602 Lewisohn. Come learn more about how you can get involved. Pizza will be served!
Best,
Adrienne Hezghia
